- The spotlight draws 8 mili-amps. The spotlight does not have an issue with being 'overcharged' because of the low “trickle charge” design. In addition, the spotlight is able to diffuse any heat build-up through it’s aluminum body and cap.
- The spotlight will see spikes above 12 Volts in some vehicles (14-15 volts is possible during car start-up), the impact during this time for the spotlight is minimal… 8miliamps may increase to 10miliamps.
