Scientific Anglers Mastery Series Redfish Fly Line
This has become our grab and go line of choice for Redfish.
The line loads the rod effectively with minimal line out of the rod tip, making it ideal for those close-range sight-fishing opportunities.
It will certainly cast effectively further out as well, but would not be the line of choice for distance casting.
There are a number of lines that we like in terms of taper for fishing Redfish, but what makes this line different is that we feel comfortable fishing the line year-round.
It maintains integrity in the heat of summer and performs like a tropical line yet is very manageable in the winter months when the air and water temps drop.
We carry the line in 6-10 weights. This is a 100ft. floating line in Dk. Horizon color. Price = $65.00
