Sage Z-Axis 9ft. 8wt. 4pc. Rod

• This is one of the finest fly rods we've ever cast. When the Z-Axis replaced the XP a few years ago, many of us XP fans we're pretty skeptical. That didn't last long.
• This rod is extremely versatile and will compliment anglers of all skill levels. Although an extremely high-performance rod, the Z-Axis is a very "user-friendly" and rather forgiving fly-rod.
• The tip is responsive enough to protect lighter tippets and the rod has a butt for fighting fish that just won't quit. It was just after we introduced this rod when a good friend and first-time saltwater angler landed a 37lb Redfish on the Z-Axis (and that was the 7wt.).
• If that doesn't tell you something about this rod, I don't know what will. Of course, like all Sage rods, the Z-Axis comes with an attractive cloth sleeve and hard case for protection while not in use or travelling.
