• Locations: Lafrenierre Park - Metairie, LA and Audubon Park across from Tulane in Uptown New Orleans
• Attendance: limited to 8 students

Topics covered:

• basic overview of the sport of fly fishing as it compares to conventional angling
• equipment (basic terminology, proper selection and rigging, freshwater vs. saltwater)
• flies (basic terminology, proper selection, freshwater vs. saltwater)
• fly-casting (basic terminology, common mistakes and remedies, overhead instruction, roll casting - no experience necessary)
• question & answer from students
• basic refreshments and snacks provided

Tuition: $50/per person

Uptown Angler fly casting instructors have a combined experience of over 30 years teaching the great sport of fly fishing. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and love of this sport with you.
